It offers versatile search options, including regular expressions (for plain text files). Users can choose files to search from a range of standard or custom text file types.
The app allows for selecting search files and folders from On My iPad, iCloud Drive, or external file providers like SMB/USB folders. Saved search files and folders are preserved within the app whenever feasible.
If iCloud files in designated iCloud Drive folders meet the file type criteria (file extension), they will be downloaded before searching begins.
Please be aware that certain third-party file providers, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, currently do not offer external folder access.
